Communications

Zed’s communications team is continuously pushing ideas and content to new readerships and engaging different audiences. This, like everything Zed does, is an organization-wide political project; it is not enough for such crucial books to sit on shelves waiting for readers. Zed goes out and engages with social and political struggles in order to be their best platform, as well as to influence and be influenced by a global readership.

This means working with newspapers, journals and other media organisations to encourage discussion and reviews of our titles and their ideas; using social media to engage directly with a wide variety of audiences; and building strong relationships with universities, libraries and other third and not-for-profit sector organisations. This enables Zed to engage with the cutting edge of academic research at the world’s best institutions, as well as joining in with wider public debate across the world.
